Broadly he is involved in research at the intersection of computational science and medicine. His clinical interests are in neurogenetic and neurodegenerative diseases, including cerebellar ataxias, Parkinson’s disease, atypical Parkinsonian disorders, and Huntington’s disease. He received his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech, his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and his PhD in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Computer Science.
